Dr Catherine Fairris BSc (Hons), MB ChB, MRCP (UK), MSc Aesthetics
Dr Catherine Fairris qualified as a doctor from the University of Bristol in 2008 having previously gained her BSc in Pharmacology. She completed her core medical training in the NHS and was a Rheumatology Registrar before shifting her focus to a specialism in Aesthetic medicine.
She is a member of the Royal college of Physicians as well as a board member of the British College of Aesthetic Medicine. In 2018 she completed her Masters degree in Aesthetic medicine from Queen Mary’s University of London – graduating with distinction. Her dissertation was titled “An evidence-based comprehensive guide to volumization of the mid-face with dermal fillers, including a proposed algorithm for managing complications” which was later published in Aesthetics Journal.
Dr Fairris has extensive experience in the use of injectable products including hands on apprenticeship with Dr Geoffrey Fairris, a leading Consultant Dermatologist and Surgical specialist with over 20 years experience in aesthetic treatments. Dr Catherine Fairris is the current President of the British College of Aesthetic medicine, an organisation for Doctors and Dentists practicing Aesthetic medicine, www.bcam.ac.uk. Before this, she was trustee responsible for education and events.
Dr Fairris has published academic papers in relation to complications management in Aesthetics. This is a particular area of interest for her, which she continues to pursue academically.
